The Advanced SEAL Delivery System (ASDS) is a manned combatant mini-submarine capable of delivering U.S. Navy SEAL personnel and their equipment stealthily in a high threat environment. The host submarine transports the vehicle to the mission area where the ASDS leaves its host and delivers the SEALs to their specific mission site and later returns with them to the host. ASDS is a highly sophisticated dry vehicle with far greater performance capability than its predecessors, and it gives the special operations warfighter remarkable clandestine capabilities.
