The Sector Estimating and Pricing (E&P) Department has reorganized with a focus on must-win and key growth opportunities driving new business capture. The E&P organization will collaborate with, and provide analytical support to, divisional management in order to develop the winning proposal strategy, and then direct the E&P organization in the execution of the strategy through the price proposal. Two organizations make up the strategic portion of E&P: New Business Strategy and Independent Cost Estimating, and Cost Volume Management. The management team is looking for leads that will provide the E&P analytical support in the development of strategy for significant proposals, including cost risk assessments and positioning to win. These individuals will be working to support E&P New Business Strategy and Proposal Managers as they coordinate with the divisional Business Mgrs, Business Development, the Capture Leadership Center, and the other members of the E&P team in the formulation of proposal strategy. In addition, the position will support cost volume planning (estimating team, proposal schedule, proposal WBS, estimating techniques, etc.), and execution for strategic competitive proposals. The New Business Strategy and Proposal Analyst is responsible for analysis to develop and implement the cost strategies necessary to translate final customer requirements into proposals. In order to accomplish the goals of both organizations and provide continuity between proposal strategy and proposal execution, a group of experienced professionals are needed. These individuals will form the nucleus of the cost proposal team for our competitive new business proposals. Band 2/3 depending on experience. Security Clearance Required.
Typical Minimum Education / Experience:
3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters
