Description:
This position requires extensive technical expertise to provide overall leadership and guidance to other team members in the concept, design, and implementation of RF communication / sensor systems and associated lower level modules. Analyze system requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints. Define and design system specifications, assess architecture and hardware limitations, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/firmware/software compatibility. Develop, allocate and derive design requirements for RF communication / sensor systems and modules. Coordinate system, subsystem design and integration/test of total system. Provide schedule status, evaluate technical / schedule risks, and conduct design reviews for system and module level designs. Position requires candidate with a demonstrated track record of developing technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. BSEE and at least 9+ years of systems and project engineering experience with military, space and commercial communications hardware and protocols. Experience with DOORS and MATLAB a plus. Secret Security Clearance required. Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance is required. Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: MSEE with emphasis on DSP, Matlab or C modeling experience is desired. Work Location: Xetron Facility - Cincinnati OH ---------- Common Job Description: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
