Northrop Grumman is seeking a Courseware Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Eglin AFB, FL.
Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's CRC/ADS/AOC Program.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Produce, update and revise classified and unclassified Control Reporting Centers (CRC), Air Defense Sectors (ADS), and Air Operations Centers (AOC) courseware to support academic and training device instruction, and crewmember duty/mission generated training requirements
* Maintain and revise developed courseware and PTT materials to support Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), and Continuation Training (CT) and operational support programs
* Develop courseware using the current, updated model of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) as defined in AFI 36-2201, AFI 36-2247, AFH 36-2235, and DoDI 1322.20
* Use current version of Advanced Distributed Learning (DL) Network, Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) standards to on-line training
* Analyze test items and cummlative data for trends for all courseware IAW AFM 36-2234 and AFH 36-2235)
* Ensure Command and Control hardware, software, tactics, local course rules, flight information publications and safety publications are properly reflected in courseware materials
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Associate's degree or higher from an accredited university in education discipline
* Completion of test and measurement applications course (3 hours), psychology of learning course (3 hours), ISD applications course (3 hours), curriculum and instructional development course (3 hours), and evaluation design application and theory course (3 hours)
* One-year hands-on experience in curriculum development and design and production of ISD materials
* Relocation is not available for this position. If candidate is not local, must be willing to relocate at one's own expense
* Position requires a current Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Area of educational emphasis in curriculum development or one-year experience in curriculum development and have three semester hours in computer-based instructional design applications
* Three years experience in training development
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in education related discipline
Typical Minimum Education / Experience:
2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters Security Clearance Required.
