The Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Unmanned Aircraft System Integrated Product Team in Hollywood, MD is seeking software engineers to design and develop air vehicle ground system applications for persistent maritime Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) data collection and dissemination. Successful candidates will derive requirements, apply object oriented design principles to translate requirements into software design, and develop application software to support mission planning for the BAMS Unmanned Aircraft System. Candidate must be able to organize tasks, communicate clearly and be comfortable working with tools such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Successful candidates will have the ability to design, develop and maintain software and produce corresponding design models and documents. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years software design and development experience is required or Masters degree with 0 years of experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C#, the .NET framework, DOORS, UML, SOA, XML and the Microsoft Windows Operating System, as well as knowledge and use of ISO 9000 and related CMMI processes. Security Clearance Required.
