Description: On-site engineering support for the US Army's Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) or similar tactical ISR systems, for various US military and other US government customers. Seeking electronics or computer engineering professionals interested in Imagery/Signals Intelligence processing; and/or in the integration, operation and maintenance of computer systems, tactical networks, data communications and peripheral equipment. Following product training and familiarization at Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems sector in Baltimore, Maryland, you will be responsible for installation and continuing support of fixed-site, vehicle-based, or shipboard integrated C4ISR networked systems. Position requires moderate to lengthy travel to various US or OCONUS locations. We seek flexibility and willingness to deploy to all/any of these locations, including Southwest Asia. Appropriate assignment bonuses and allowances are paid. Some voluntary OCONUS deployments may be to risky hostile ("war zone") environments, and earn larger bonuses. Experience with or knowledge of DCGS related sensors or remote collection platforms is a plus. Position may be filled at Level 2 or Level 1 based upon candidate's qualifications and experience. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline; nominal related work experience; DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering plus four (4) years related systems experience in UNIX, SUN, Solaris, CISCO, SIGINT & IMINT; current or recent (<5 years) DoD Top Secret with SCI or SAP/SAR program access with CI polygraph.
