Description:
Responsible for administering a business area to ensure the required USG approvals are obtained to support Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems international marketing, contracts and procurement initiatives. Duties include advising program, contracts, procurement and other relevant personnel on export control requirements, ensuring compliance with export control laws, submitting and managing applications to the Export/Import Shared Services organization for submission to the USG and maintaining a database to enable prompt retrieval of status information and efficient management of the process. Duties will also include handling export jurisdiction and classification projects as required to support various business divisions and special compliance projects, as required. Band 3 and 4 candidates will be considered for hire if they meet the required qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
US citizen or permanent resident alien. Minimum of 3 years experience in Law, Export or Contracts management or a related field covering a variety of different types of licenses and agreements. Experience in writing license and agreement requests. Possess good verbal, written and presentation skills and an ability to be an independent contributor and work in a team environment; effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Possess strong organizational, detailed oriented and critical thinking skills. Bachelor Science and/or Masters Degree in Business or Related Field Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of NGES and Corporate export policies and procedures; Knowledge of NGES products and services; Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR. Experience in training large, diverse groups on various export related issues; and Ability to lead major, complex projects and complete them on a timely basis.
