Description:
Plan, coordinate, and perform structural/sheetmetal modifications and repairs. Fabricates piece parts using design data. Improvise tooling and methods as required to complete jobs. Certify all work performed. Must meet / maintain minimum tool inventory requirements.
Working Procedure And/Or Responsibility Assigned:
Perform Work Of Equal Or Lower Skill Level As Required.
1 Performs complex structural /sheet metal modifications and repairs.
2 Fabricate piece parts in accordance with approved technical data and drawings.
3 Must have the ability to read and understand all drawings, work orders, structural repair manuals, and technical directives.
4 Ensures all paper work, work orders, and records associated with modifications and repairs are completed daily
5 Advises the supervisor of any necessary tooling required to properly complete task.
6 Assist engineering with technical issues.
7 Train less experienced personnel.
8 Maintain work area, hanger, ramp, shops, and ground support equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Preferred Qualifications:
FAA A&P License, Aircraft Painting, PC Windows/MS Office, Secret Clearance.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High School Diploma Required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
4 years performing complex structural modifications with both sheetmetal and composite materials.
