The Army Combat Vehicles Maintenance Services Market Development Director is directly responsible to the Director of the Marketing and Strategy within the Systems Support Group (SSG) for qualifying and winning business opportunities that support the primary functional operating unit called Technical Services & Vehicle Maintenance Services. The MD will be responsible for the lead and stewardship of customer relationships and coordination of customer interaction throughout the capture and bid process. The MD identifies and qualifies business opportunities and participates in the development of proposal strategy that results in winning new contract awards to the company. The MD is responsible for qualifying and winning new opportunities through in depth knowledge of the customer, the competition within the marketplace, the financial& strategic value of the opportunity, customer funding, and NGTS's ability to win as a PRIME or Subcontractor. The director will develop material and participate in briefing various opportunities and capture reviews, participate and guide customer, company, and competitive analyses, deliver company capability presentation and other internal briefings. The director will also pursue and establish partnerships with other companies in the marketplace to develop other business opportunities in a teamed environment. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years market/business development experience working with the federal government. The MD must be a US citizen and be capable of obtaining a Top Secret Clearance. The MD also assists and collaborates with other Market Developers in the Systems Support Group to meet all corporate grow goals. Extensive travel is required. Security Clearance Required.
