Description:
Successful candidate will be responsible for Electrical Power Systems (EPS) design, interface development and overall subsystem integration, verification and flight test support. Subsystem designs include the development of major electrical power generation, distribution and storage components, such as, 10kVA and 25kVA Engine Generators, Lithium-Ion Batteries and DC/AC Invertors. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of MIL-STD-704E and MIL-STD-810. Support Principal Investigator for EPS related IRAD and CRAD projects. Responsible for applicable Statements of Work (SOW), trade studies, design, model and drawings releases. Provide technical definition, control of functional requirements and ensure technical coordination with applicable departments, suppliers or customers. Support anomaly investigations and develop root cause corrective actions. Support typical Air Force and Navy DoD program milestones: SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR and DT/OT. Manage cost and schedule performance to the Earned Value baseline and program schedule. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 9 years of experience, or MS with 7 years experience. Strong background in power generation and power management engineering. Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance Required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with the Global Hawk air vehicle, experience on other aircraft programs, supplier management experience, aircraft production support experience, and a current DoD Secret clearance.(GHAWK ) Relocation Assistance Available.
