Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Works as a member of 2d IO Battalion Staff, with specific duties as a penetration test trainer. * Provide technical and training support on the Penetration Testing program for the Army. Training is conducted for personnel from US Army Tenants, Regional CERTs and functional CERTs within the Army. * Prepare course curriculum, training plans and support documentation: - course curriculum and handouts - certification tests - project plans and schedules *Perform policy reviews and development of comments for Army Regulation and Policy: - Tracking comments to Army Regulation and Policy regarding the Penetration and Testing certification program - Comment on changes to Army Regulation and Policy regarding the Penetration and Testing certification program and Vulnerability Assessment program * Identify new technology to be used in the Penetration Test program: - Conduct survey of new technology and tools used for penetration testing - Document tool usage and implementation of the vulnerability assessments Essential Functions: TS/SCI Clearance Required. Education/Experience/Special Knowledge: Solid knowledge of training development and classroom presentation techniques required. Familiarity of System/network administration, security, and vulnerability assessments. Operating System (OS) and/or IA certifications are beneficial. Position requires Superior Customer Service skills/leadership traits; Service/Agency/Joint Operations Center experience helpful. Desired Certifications/Experience: CEH, MCP, or MCSE Typically the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience or 9 years in lieu of educational credentials.
