We are currently seeking a Sr. level Test & Evaluation Engineer - Technical Advisor to support our efforts at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) in Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment providing technical advice and guidance to the Program Manager. As the Technical Advisor, you will work closely with the customer to develop a joint strategic vision and execute to that vision. Provide leadership and guidance to the engineering team. Provide proposal management support for Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Change Orders, and additional work that require a proposal submission.
Responsibilities include - develop and review test plans; write white papers and present at T&E forum; work with the engineering team for system testing activities in support of new and existing product releases; conduct trade studies and analysis of COTS options based on requirements; lead internal R&D efforts; assist the PM in proposal development and engineering change activities.
The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:
1. Bachlelor's of Science degree and a minimum of 15 years related experience.
2. Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
3. Knowledge of different concepts of testing including Unit, Integration, System and Performance Test.
4. Lead Developmental testing and Operational testing efforts for a large program.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have successfully chaired or led an IPT for an open group or standards organization (OMG, W3C, IEEE, etc).
