Job Description: The job duties include planning, testing, analyzing data and writing/developing detailed reports, specifications and procedures that will be used in a manufacturing environment. Shop floor and hands on work accompany this position including flight line coordination for test installations and in field coordination with operators and customers. Applicant must be skilled at delivering presentations and demonstrate an ability to communicate in written form. Applicant must also possess modern computing skills to include basic CAD engineering drawing skills and common office tools including MS Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Engineer Materials and Process engineer with specialties related to LO materials will be a member of the B-2 Materials and Process Development Department. Responsibilities include coordination with test lab activities including writing test plans, evaluation vendor material products, documenting test results and producing test reports along with briefing materials. Will be required to develop, characterize, test, specify, produce, deliver, apply and support materials for aerospace applications. Provide design support, solve manufacturing problems, and develop detailed MandP requirements from program requirements. Basic Qualifications: BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related area, MS preferred. Experience: 5 years minimum. Must be eligible for US security clearance. Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
