Responsible for all aspects of human capital management, including employee services, security, labor relations, workforce transformation, outreach, and College and University liaison. Potential workforce size of 1500-2000 people accomplishing highly technical work such as the processing of launch vehicles and spacecraft for human space missions. Manages a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy. Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational group. Advisor to lower level managers and exempt employees. Helps meet established schedules or resolve technical or operational problems. Establishes operating procedures that affect organizational unit(s). Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies. Develops and administers budgets and standards of performance. Directs the implementation of support activities, including human resources, security, labor relations, and records management. Serves as the focal point for internal and external customer support. Strong background and an advanced level of understanding in human resources and related functional activities for large government contracts is required. Labor relations experience is highly desirable. Experience at a NASA human space flight center is highly desirable Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
