OVERVIEW
Continuity Planning Team, supporting Intelligence Community customer, seeks a highly motivated candidate with strong problem solving skills and an ability to work productively in a rapidly changing environment. The position entails developing policies, procedures, testing plans and guidelines for information systems contingency plans, which includes mobilization and damage recovery assessment for information systems-related operations. Candidate must have at least three years experience IT security, network engineering and/or continuity planning. This candidate should have an interest/familiarity with Continuity of Operations (COOP), Continuity of Government (COG), Enduring Constitutional Government (ECG) Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery or System Contingency Planning and a demonstrated willingness to learn new subject matters. Candidate must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, be organized and detail oriented, and be able to work effectively as part of a team and senior-level customers.
RESPONSIBLITIES
The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Develop and Implement plans including: Continuity of Operations (COOP), Disaster Recovery, Standard Operating Procedures, and Test, Training and Evaluations.
Identify value-added recommendations to integrate multiple intelligence organizations
Promote Information Sharing Initiatives
Frequent, reimbursed, Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA) local travel.
Perform security services which may include Risk Assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
5 Years of IT experience with Bachelors in Science in technical field of study,3 Years with Masters;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience/familiarity with continuity planning
Desired:
Familiarity with Federal Continuity Mandates
Intelligence Community experience
Certifications, such as a CBCP, MBCP or ABCP, CISSP
Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
