Job Description: Engineer Materials and Process engineer with specialties related to LO materials. Will be a member of the B-2 Materials and Process Development Department. Responsibilities include coordination with test lab activities including writing test plans, evaluation vendor material products, documenting test results and producing test reports along with briefing materials. Will be required to develop, characterize, test, specify, produce, deliver, apply and support materials for aerospace applications. Provide design support, solve manufacturing problems, develop detailed MandP requirements from program requirements. Basic Qualifications: BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related area, MS preferred. Experience: 2 years minimum. Must be eligible for US security clearance. Must be able to communicate in briefings, written and verbal forums. Must be able to operate in a independent location intermingled with our government customers in a military/civilian work environment.Candidate will be required to travel to Palmdale, CA extensively during early part of the assignment to develop knowledge and experience in the B-2 platform and system configuration. During this time, clearances and specific knowledge of the B-2 Aircraft can be conveyed.Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters Relocation Assistance Available.
