Where Technology and Teamwork come together... Northrop Grumman Information Technology (NGIS) sector is seeking a Malware/Media Forensic Analyst to join our team in defining the future. This position will be located in Alexandria, VA (Fort Belvoir). The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's dynamic team. Working as an Information Technology Security Specialist for the Army Computer Emergency Team (ACERT), supporting tenants within CONUS and OCUNUS.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of hacker tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP)
* Ability to research vulnerabilities and analyze 0-day exploits
* Reverse engineering/exploit analysis experience
* Understanding of Networks, socket programming
* In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP/Network Protocols
* Direct work experience using data recovery software
* Ability to perform imaging and forensic analysis
* Working knowledge of exploitation tools
* Hands-on experience with EnCase/FTK Data Recovery Software Tools.
* General understanding of X86 assembly language
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Typically the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience or 9 years of equivalent work related experience without degree.
* Position requires a current TS/SCI Clearance
