Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop independent cost estimates for various programs consisting of IT and personnel support programs.
* Edit, modify, review, and assess cost estimates for accuracy, clarity, reasonableness, and realism.
* Interact daily with the customer to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
* Participate in the development of cost controls, cost reduction strategies, procedures, and forecasting techniques to evaluate effectiveness of managed information services.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Masters Degree
* 15+ years DoD/ Cost/Financial Management experience
* Strong Excel experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Farmiliarity with PPBS and cost estimating techniques
* Position requires a current Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Experience with cost modeling tools, including Crystal Ball, SAS, SEER-SEM, ACE-IT, or PRICE.
* Professional certifications (Certified Cost Estimator, CDFM)
