Similar in scope to a squadron aviation storekeeper (AK/SK), position will provide supply support services to post manufacturing preservation and organizational level maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles. Will be part of a small team based at the Northrop Grumman facility in Moss Point, MS in support of a Navy CLS contract. Candidate will be responsible for tracking all of the awaiting parts (AWP) status. Must have previous training and experience as an aviation storekeeper. Must have a thorough understanding of the DOD Uniform Material Movement and Issue Priority System (UMMIPS) and be familiarity with a Supply Department ashore, in particular the duties of an Aviation Support Division (ASD), and submission process of material requisitions through MILSTRAP procedures. Graduate from the formal training program in Naval Aviation Supply, Meridian, MS, or the Joint Aviation Supply Maintenance Material Management (JASMMM) course, Athens, GA. Must have a thorough understanding of the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2, Chapter 9, to include the other Supply reference publications. Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook expected. Must be able to qualify for Secret clearance.Basic Qualification: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in aviation supply working in positions within a MALS, MAW, Navy ASD, Wing, FRC, or ICP. Preferred Experience: Naval Aviation Maintenance Information System (NALCOMIS) terminals are expected to be installed on site. Requisitions, follow-up actions will be through this system, so previous experience in this area enhances suitability. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
