Description: Electronic Systems EEDS has an open position for a Systems/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE) Engineer to support the development environment for a major systems/software development project to assure product delivery. This person will also be the AIS custodian for the area. This position is posted as a dual salary band 03/04. The candidate's skills and qualifications will determine the appropriate salary band. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a technical field or substantial progress toward completing a bachelor's degree in a technical field is required. Secret Clearance Required. Minimum 5 years experience. The position requires previous interaction and an intimate knowledge of one or more engineering development lifecycles (hardware/systems/software/test). Candidate must have knowledge of computer networking, an in-depth operating system knowledge inclusive of real-time operating systems, and knowledge of AIS security procedures, experience with installing and maintaining engineering applications as applied to product development and delivery, and the desire to partner with engineering to ensure successful product development and delivery.
