Description:
The Antenna, Laser, and Sensor PLM reports to the Director of Payload Products in S&DPD. Responsible for managing, coordinating, developing, and executing product cost reduction strategies, product evolution, product infrastructure, and IR&D for antenna, laser, and sensor products within S&DP. The PLM will also work with payload technology managers, product champions and business development area managers to coordinate product business opportunities across NGAS sector for insertion of antenna, laser, and sensor products. Additional responsibilities include working with product champions to develop roadmaps, competitive analyses, cost reduction plans and marketing presentations. Must be self motivated with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coordinate multi-discipline/functional teams. The PLM must possess the ability to effectively interface with product champions, program IPTs, and Business Development managers. The successful candidate must be capable of effectively communicating product capabilities and the evolution of required technologies. Leads and encourages efforts to identify, acquire and exploit emerging technologies and develop executable product cost reduction plans to support strategic growth and bottom line performance on programs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 10 years of antenna product experience that includes developing, managing, or marketing relevant products. A Bachelors degree with experience in antenna technology development and flight production is required. Ability to obtain/transfer SSBI and DoD SECRET Security Clearances is required.
DESIRED SKILLS: An advanced degree (technical or marketing) is highly preferred.
