Description:
Real-time, embedded software developer (C/C++) for Joint STARS. Candidate will perform software development tasks, including requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, and integration, also hardware/software integration. Candidate must be familiar with development tools such as IDEs, and configuration control and defect tracking systems. The Candidate must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks in parallel, and must possess strong verbal/written communication skills.
Basic Qualifications: Applicant must have a BS degree in related computer science/engineering field with 9 years of applicable experience, or a Masters degree with 7years experience. Experience developing real time sensor signal processing software and good working knowledge of the VxWorks OS environment is required. Applicant must be familiar with SEI CMM/CMMI, IEEE and military standard software engineering practices. US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
