Description: The Ground Systems Software Center has an immediate need for a full-time software engineer to join the ATP Payload Test Set software IandT support team in Space Park. The Payload Test Set is a large C / Linux test set with software support needs in many areas including test and measurement software, device / instrument control, MySQL databases, interprocess communication, web development, distributed processing, post processing, client/server software, etc. This position is ideal for cleared software engineers who want to be part of team motivated to learn and support a large software system controlling many racks of instrumentation. On-site 24/7 shift support required during formal testing phases. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or closely related engineering or science degree plus 5-8 years experience in software integration & test. An active SSBI, with a Security Clearance Required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The selected candidate must have good interpersonal skills to work with others in a dynamic team environment, good written and oral communication skills, experience debugging software in a multiple processor environment, software development and test skills.
