OVERVIEW:
The Systems Integration and Requirements Integrated Product Team (IPT) is seeking an individual to perform Reentry Systems/Reentry Vehicle Integration tasks and resolve requirements issues on the Minuteman Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Weapon System.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelors degree in a related field, a minimum of eight (8) years experience in ICBM design, operations, and maintenance and an ability to obtain a Secret Clearance are required. The successful candidate should be familiar with the basics of systems engineering and the various associated disciplines. The successful candidate should also be familiar with DOD environments and the rules and regulations governing weapon system documentation. Must also have familiarity with requirements, including requirements generation and flow-down; design and operation of at least one sub-system in the Minuteman weapon system; good working knowledge of system engineering and integration processes; demonstrated competency with all Microsoft Office applications to include MS Project; experience with Modeling & Simulation, SRA, FMA, and development of specifications.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Specific weapon system experience is a plus. Duties include performing technical reviews, deployment planning, System Requirements Analysis (SRA), Failure Modes Analysis (FMA), anomaly resolution and coordination of system integration and engineering tasks with one or more Sustainment and program IPTs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to direct tasks for supporting engineers and to interface with team-mates and customers.
