Description:
The BAMS Mission Control System (MCS) ISR Assessment Software Engineer is responsible for the design and development of software related to the display, analysis and reporting of ISR data provided by the BAMS Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) sensor suite. Experience with software requirements analysis, design, and implementation is required. Candidates will have skills using Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques using UML, as well as, experience following software engineering processes. Proficiency using C, C++, C#, Java or .NET programming language is required. The ideal candidate would also have experience programming 3-D mapping applications, working with OpenGL/DirectX, and familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS tools and products. Experience with SOAP, XMPP, HTTP and socket based communications desired. Knowledge of GCCS-M and Track Management Services a plus. Candidates should also have the ability to work in a distributed team environment.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an MS with 3 years of related experience. Proficiency using C, C++, C#, JAVA or .NET languages and proficiency with the use of MS Office, and PC based tools is required. US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Effective coordination, communication, and organization skills.
