Business Process Analyst
As a Business Process Analyst at Northrop Grumman your expertise will be used to gather requirements, design feature-based systems, and support software development activities. Our analysts truly are the liaison between the business side and the IT side as we work together to develop new solutions and enhancements to applications for our customers.
This job requires innovation and analytical thinking in order to develop conceptual informatics solutions to scientific problems and integration into other information systems, internally and externally (e.g.; state health departments). Business Analysts must be comfortable as a subject matter expert to create and update process documents, ensure functional specifications are met and interact with leadership to suggest improvement opportunities.
Typical qualifications that may be necessary to secure employment as a Business Process Analyst include:
- BS/BA required, MA/MS desired in related field
- Experience in Public Health or healthcare industry

Experience developing analysis and requirements documents such as use cases, wireframes, requirements traceability matrices, etc.

Familiarity with data and database concepts

Prior programming experience or understanding of SDLC

Expertise with User Interface (UI) and interaction design

Experience with logistics or supply chain applications

Excellent oral and written communication skills
