Network Engineer
As a network engineer you will be responsible for the technical leadership in the day to day operations of our client’s networks, provide tier III support for Cisco routers and switches deployed throughout the foreign and domestic networks, and develop detailed designs for network extensions and enhancements. Employees participate in a team setting in the development of technology standards and support techniques.
Applicants must be capable of installing, configuring, maintaining, and managing Cisco products and its associated peripheral devices. Close coordination with multiple vendors will be required to ensure the appropriate infrastructure is installed and configured for optimal performance.
Typical qualifications that may be necessary to secure employment as a network engineer include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and five or more years generalized IT network experience
- Training and experience with the implementation and maintenance in Cisco products operating system
- Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation
- CCNA, CCIE, CISSP certification is considered a plus
