Systems Engineer
As a systems engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will work in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and speciality engineers to develop solutions. Systems engineers coordinate engineering disciplines in resolving system-level issues, understand system-to-system interfaces, serve as a proactive troubleshooter, look for problems and arrange to prevent them.
Employees perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Typical qualifications that may be necessary to secure employment as a systems engineer include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineering or IT field
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the repair, troubleshooting and operations of Networks devices
- Preferred certifications include Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
